Parenting an ONLY CHILD and DAUGHTER is similar in every way to project management. Projects are meant to be successfully executed and defended. In the same way, parenting an ONLY CHILD and DAUGHTER is a project from God that is meant to be executed successfully and one day when we appear before Him in glory, we would be asked to defend our parenting and child project. This involves, how you started, what you did and didn't do and the result of the final outcome of the child project. Sadly, many parents are already failing in the parenting and child project.

Many parents would claim, "I have done this and that; I have done everything, but nothing seems to be working."

The scripture declares in Proverbs 22:6 that we should: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it"

The training of an ONLY CHILD and DAUGHTER is not complete without taking out time in the day to pray specific character, life and career building prayers for her. Talking, instructing, counseling, commanding and even disciplining your child may not always get her heart to change in the direction of righteousness. In order words, talking, counseling, disciplining, commanding and instructing your child should not be the only thing that you do in training and bringing up your child in the way that she should follow. You should also complement these efforts with prayer for her.

You'll find that some of your best parenting happens when you're humbly bent down on your knees praying specifics for your child. You are able to effectively manage, direct, groom, program, protect, bless, prosper and parent your kids effectively more when you are down on your knees praying for her.

Prayer is essential over your ONLY CHILD and DAUGHTER and family. The greatest thing a parent can do for any child is to pray for the life of that child.

No matter how far gone into waywardness that your child might have gone, prayer can turn the child around for good, if only you would take up the parenting and child project prayer challenge.
