Monique is French-Canadian, early 20s, poised and charming in a way like only a French woman can be. She is attending graduate school at a university in Jamaica when she meets her professor Matthew. He is in the middle of a mid-life crisis and wants to reinvent himself by dating a younger woman, even though he is engaged to be married.
He is an easy mark for Monique, who seizes the opportunity to seduce him, feeding his ego and desire for excitement. Matthew ends up impregnating Monique, even though he has promised to marry his fiancé Emily and start a family with her.
When he learns she is pregnant, Matthew chooses Monique over Emily, feeling it is the right thing to do, leaving his ex-fiancé distraught. The situation comes to a head with a dramatic showdown between Monique and Emily where they confront a dark secret that Emily thought she had kept concealed from everyone.
However, it turns out that Monique has a plan for Emily that goes far beyond stealing her fiancé and getting pregnant in the process. Will she succeed or fail in her conquest for vengeance and finally be able to put her demons to rest?
