We are living in the last days in which Jesus will return when we least expect Him. As people of God, we have yet to experience the demonstration of His Power in full measure as was seen in the days of Acts of the Apostles. We are too entrapped in the pleasures of the world and drowned by the pressures of life and meeting societal expectations.
Why? Where is the God of Elijah? Why does He not matter much to us somehow? Because we are not drawing and drinking from the Giver of Life, the Fountain of Living Water. We are busy trying to make and fill "broken cisterns that can hold no water" (Jeremiah 2:13).
Therefore, let us return to our God and live boldly in Him. Fear no man and we shall see God move mightily in these last days. I pray that the practical exhortations herein will motivate God's people everywhere to rise up to declare His sovereignty and truly live as a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession.
