In present day New Zealand Jennifer Simpson seeks information about her family tree. She asks her Great Grandaughter Kalle Kennedy to go to England to find why she cannot access the fortune in her bank account. Isabella Blyde continues her life as a solo parent in Georgian London while Jenna Pajari has some lifestyle changes. Politician Spencer Perceval faces threats to his life while the Pajari brothers continue their dysfunctional relationship. Kalle is still haunted by her experiences in an interrogation centre.
