A police officer appears just outside my driver's side window. The guy has his sidearm drawn and he snarls, "Out of the car and keep your hands where I can see them!"
I get out of my car, keeping my hands where the guy can see them. (I note that there's a TV roving crew observing things.) I ask, "What's wrong?"
The police officer re-holsters his side arm and says, "You are!" He then grabs me and forces me back against my car.
I have my arms free and there are witnesses. I hit the police officer with a full force left hook. I feel the guy's arm break as he tries to block my punch. His other arm is apparently tangled in my clothes. I hook a right to the other side of the guy's head. Grabby boy goes down like the sack of shit that he is.
The other police officer takes a stance, with his side arm drawn and pointed at me. He snarls, "Don't move."
I calmly say, "If you shoot an unarmed man, in front of witnesses, you go to prison."
The night is then full of police cars with flashing red lights. There are several police officers around me.
I get my hands cuffed behind me. I tell the police, "I have a right to a lawyer. I am requesting a lawyer, NOW!"
I don't get a lawyer. I do get forced into the back seat of a black and white police car and I get driven down town. I'm then un-cuffed and forced into a holding cell. I again ask, "Where's my lawyer?"
What appears to be the police officer in charge then says, "You killed a cop. You're lucky I don't shoot you."
I find myself in a windowless room, with a bunk, with no mattress. There's also no toilet and no lavatory. Well, there's a small window in the door, that's the only way in or out of the room. There were witnesses to my capture by the police, so it seems unlikely that the police will let me die of thirst in the room. The room looks clean.
After some thought, I remove my shirt and begin to do some triceps push ups, using the edge of the bunk. I then do some push ups, with my feet on top of the bunk. I then do some Kung Fu punching, at the air. I have no idea when I might get a shower, so I take it slow and make sure that I get full extension on each exercise.

Janice Smith faces a police officer and a Supervisor. "You tell me that you received an anonymous phone call that one Jason Melg was on his way into town. The anonymous caller told you that Jason Melg was a criminal and would cause trouble. The anonymous caller also told you that Jason Melg was driving a yellow Camaro automobile, with a specific license number. So, rookie cop decided to make a name for himself by pushing Jason Melg around. James Melg, not Jason Melg, was driving the yellow Camaro, that rookie cop pulled over, without cause. According to the vehicle registration, James Melg is the owner of the yellow Camaro. According to his driver's license, James Melg is six foot four inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. According to his high school coach, James Melg was listed as six foot four inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. According to his high school coach, Jason Melg was listed as six foot six inches tall and weighing 270 pounds. Also according to their high school coach, Jason Melg is, and I quote, 'A little taller than his brother and even a little more muscular, if you can believe that. The two of them were called the 'Punishment Pair' by the players around the league. James Melg played like King Kong with a sledge hammer. Jason Melg played like King Kong with two sledge hammers. If you got someone who picked a fight with either of the Melg brothers, you got a serious drug abuse problem in your city.' Well?"
The Supervisor says, "We hire what we can get, for the money that the city allows us to pay police officers."
