Families and Thieves

In this second instalment of The Kimble Detective Agency series, we follow the imaginative and intelligent Peyton and his trusty, enthusiastic assistant Jackson Chadwick as they work together to unravel two separate and equally intriguing mysteries.

The first is an apparently simple theft of an art piece at the school where Peyton's wife Sherri is a teacher. After interviewing all of the students in the class, they are still left at a dead end with the plot further thickening when a second painting is stolen.

The pair accompanies the class on a school trip to an art museum where things take a dramatic turn for the worse and reach a deadly and frightening climax. Have the two private detectives been too slow at identifying what was right in front of them, or will they be able to pull it together at the last minute and make sure justice is delivered?
