Family Business

At the tender age of twenty one, Sonny Higgins thinks he knows it all. He is arrogant, full of attitude and along with his fellow gang member, is destined for a life of crime. Arrested for a violet burglary, he is sent to prison for three years and he swears to carry on where he left off once he is released. Forced to share a cell with Frankie West, a murderer who has two and a half years left to serve of a life sentence, Sonny's attitude starts to soften when he hears the story of why Frankie committed the crime of murder. Abandonment, racial prejudice, under age prostitution and above all else love, are the reasons that finally force a charming and hard working young man, to lose all that he ever valued in life. The revenge of someone so hurt by others has a terrible effect and the consequences of one man's actions, will ruin many people's lives. After hearing this sorry tale, will Sonny change or will he sink deeper into the world of crime on his release? Was murder the only option open to Frankie West, or should he have just walked away?
