Stories of fantastic mind travels and mystical experiences of body and soul. In 'Actress and Artist' a young artist falls in love with two women, who inspire his paintings by playacting their roles. Together they escape the daily humdrum finding new aspects of creative expressions for their arts. In 'Alta's Abduction' Joe misses his usual way to his work due to a diversion and he lands in a city without street signs. Asking for direction in an Indian spice shop, he is ushered into an oriental massage parlour, where he enjoys the attention of beautiful Alta. Informed about her abduction in the morning, he calls his friend for help. Gord assures him of sanity. Together they will free Alta from her abductors, as Gord knows the surrounds of the city. In 'Big Apple Flight', a young woman comes into the life of a young man from an early age repeatedly, blossoming into a desirable woman. While he travels to her apartment in the city, he meets Ellen, a sexy woman with great intelligence, who wants to meet him. She loses her longtime mentor, but meets her 'New Joe', a designer of well-appointed modern homes. He is smitten by the good looking woman and together they take off on a journey into the world of love, with Elle's awakening into a passionate woman and compassion to heal Joe's wounds inflicted on him through chafing with the harpies of love.

Sharing one of her colorfully wrapped cigarettes, life seems to be a giant slide of complete bliss. The story of 'The Spirit of the Flame Tree' begins with Zeno arriving on a forlorn beach in the south-east of Crete. In his dream Yrto the spirit of Myrto, a woman he met before, takes him on a hike into a mountainous gorge. Arriving at a high village square, he meets Myrto, the woman from the Flame Tree. Her food spiced from its fruit causes a fire in him and with her open sexuality she draws him immediately into her ban.
