Jacqueline is a successful interior designer from California. After her mother, Simone, dies, Jacqueline yearns to move to France and reconnect with her French family and heritage. She always wanted to open a design studio renovating chateaux in the Loire valley. She becomes melancholy with each passing day. Her husband Patrick takes her to Paris for a vacation.
