Queen Anne Neville lived during a very tumultuous time in British history. She lived from 1456-1485. She lived during a long civil war referred to sometimes as the Cousin's War or the War of the Roses. The House of Lancaster which had the red rose as their flower battled with the House of York, which Anne is from, whom had the white rose as their flower. The House of York also had as badges, a sun, sometimes a falcon and fetterlock, a padlock to secure an animal, usually a horse to a post.
In this book, the reader takes a journey back in time to sit with Queen Anne Neville and discuss her life and her marriage to King Richard III. While this book is fiction and a product of the author's imagination, it provides some insight into what could have been some thoughts Anne had and some possible dates for the marriage of Richard III and Queen Anne at Westminster and information about their son, Edward. Enjoy!
