Foremark Reservoir is beautifully situated in the heart of the midlands, just to the east of the brewing capital of the world, Burton on Trent and is easily accessed from the country's main arteries of the MI, A50 and the A38. At just over 240 acres, it offers some of the best fly fishing available from both the banks and the boats. Opening on 1st March, it is stocked almost every week with rainbow trout, some well into double-figures, and, in 2012, a smattering of brown trout, just to add a little bit of variation. This guide is aimed at fly fishermen, giving hints and tips as to fishing from the banks and boats at one of the up and coming fisheries in the country. It will also tell you the best places to fish and also, let you know what it will cost.
