From Abraham: Journeys through the Bible Covering the Old Testament, the Silent Period and the Ministry of Jesus Till Today

Many of us have struggled to understand 'who we are'. And also lack a deeper understanding of the Bible, the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Others have distanced themselves from the Bible as they see it as a book for a specific people group.

You will also gain a lot of knowledge about the mighty kingdoms which dominated the world like the Egyptians, Canaanites, Kushites, Assyrians, Babylonians and the rise of the Persians, the Greeks led by Alexander the Great and the Silent Period before the birth of Jesus. Additionally, 'From Abraham' covers the Hasmoneans-Maccabees, Jewish Independence and the Romans up to the time when Jesus was born and explains why the Pharisees followed Jesus wherever He went.
We also learn about people like Melchizedek, Moses, Jethro, Bathsheba, Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, Ptolemy, Cleopatra, the Maccabees family and Darwin.
The book further explores the meaning of names, numbers for counting, anniversaries, and many physical features and places we read about in the Bible. The journey also shares day-to-day issues like faith, families and households, love, prayers, typology, some unique teachings of Jesus and some of the mind-boggling questions we face daily.
In the New Testament, the dialogue between Nicodemus and Jesus helps us understand who we are and what we need to do to be born again, perfectly explained by Apostle John.
Sometimes we think the Bible is all about men, but you will learn more about the role of women like Eve, Sarah, Tamar, Mary Magdalene, Mary, and Martha and also revelations from the Scriptures.
There is an excellent historical account, which gives us an exceptional understanding of the Bible. Outside the Bible, we learn about how the disciples of Jesus died and the work of men like Emperor Constantine, King James, King Canute, Martin Luther, William Seymour, Billy Graham and other people who influenced the spread of Christianity.
After knowing who we are, believers face the challenge of the 'GO Command' message (Matthew 28:18-20), from Jesus to all his followers, which we must fulfill until He comes back in His glory.
