From Beatles to Blondie, Bowie to Blackheart, with Brass Knobs on

A light hearted look at over forty years of attending concerts, picking out those ones which were "unusual" in some way or where something went wrong. Every copy sold will generate a substantial Charitable donation to my local Hospice which is the best cause I can think of. The 22 stories cover all kinds of musical tastes from rock to pop to folk to pirates to new wave and even a brass band. But although the music is always mentioned, the common thread's what else happened to make the event stand out, either on stage or off. They're irreverent but faithful to the time. I'm told that some of these stories are quite funny and would resonate with anyone who's been to an event that didn't turn out quite the way they expected it to! So if tales including accidental garrottings, lockins, the occasional arrest of a lead singer or two, a suspicious puddle, and a vocalist abandoning his duty in order to drill a parsnip whilst performing - all good rock and roll !!!, are your thing, and if you need a chortle or two, please read on and exercise that chuckle muscle ! Written during the mass lockdown of half the world, as an antidote to a diet of News, I had a complete blast doing so, and made contact with some old friends as part of the process, and I hope anyone purchasing would end up smiling.
