Joe, a flamboyant and ambitious musician, meets the unassuming Mary. While taking her home, he is shocked when she rebuffs his sexual advances, claiming that she doesn't believe in sex before marriage. Despite this setback, Joe is captivated and falls in love with the virginal Mary. After their engagement, she mysteriously becomes pregnant and Joe is absolutely furious ¿ after all, how many ways can a woman conceive? 'From Out of the Blue' is Joe's 21-year journey of self-discovery through his relationships with Mary, music and her extraordinary son, Chris.
