Fundamental Movement Skills: An Educator's Guide to Teaching Fundamental Movements has been designed as a resource for postsecondary students who are in the disciplines of physical education, kinesiology, recreation and leisure, and education. Teachers, leaders, and coaches may also use the resource and adapt the activity ideas to suit each particular situation. The book focuses on the development of the fundamental movement skills element of physical literacy. It includes information and activities for all children and youth at the Active Start, FUNdamentals, and Learning to Train stages of the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Model, including those children with physical, developmental, and behavioural disabilities.
