G-Is for String
Tina D'Angelo tells the story of her first years in the exotic dance/strip business. A college student who had dreamed of dancing all her life entered a dance contest and won a thirteen-year career dancing onstage. It wasn't exactly how she had pictured it, but it was dancing, travel, and excitement! The exotic dance world was viciously competitive and dangerous, especially for a gullible, trusting young woman.
She gets caught up in a sinister web of crime with her first boyfriend, who drags her across the country and implicates her in his crimes. Every time she escapes his clutches, he pulls her back in and destroys any progress she has made without him. Because of him, she barely survives a brush with a murderer. No matter what she endures, she stubbornly holds onto her dream of dancing and becomes her own hero in the end.
She tries to rise above the fray by refusing the usual demands some clubs make on the dancers; no extreme nudity, no selling phony drinks, no "dating" customers for money, and no touching. NO TOUCHING! Her dance style and unique shows usually kept her employed, despite her reluctance to go along to get along.
You will fall in love with Tina's obstinate and gullible nature while cursing her poor choices and just plain bad luck. She is sarcastic and funny, always telling the bald truth, no matter how embarrassing it is. Welcome to Tina's twisted world of travel, adventure, thrills, and G-Strings!
