HOW I WAS ABLE TO ELIMINATE MY POOR MANNERS TO DEVELOP INTO A MUCH BETTER HUMAN

When I was a youngster, it was difficult for me to understand the significance of proper manners and the advantages they provide when applied to our day-to-day interactions with others. This was because I was an orphan at the age of three, and ever since that time, one of my uncles was responsible for bringing me up as a youngster. He was a successful businessman who traveled often, and his wife worked as a physician. She hardly had any time to take care of both myself and their children. As a result of my upbringing, I lacked proper etiquette since I did not have somebody to watch over me and instruct me otherwise.

Before I got to know Anita, one of my female friends from college, I never considered the possibility that this may be a problem. Her parents had done a wonderful job raising her, and as a result, she had excellent manners. As a consequence of our relationship, I decided to make her my mentor since she helped me see the many areas of my life in which I needed to improve due to my poor manners. As a result, I now consider her to be my mentor. I began putting all of the information that was mentioned in this book into practice, and as time went on, I started seeing tremendous improvements in my manners. Because of this, I was able to overcome all of the poor manners that I had in the past.
