Stanley J. Weyman (August 7, 1855 April 10, 1928) was an English novelist, who is well-known by his work "Under the Red Robe". Sometimes he was referred to as a "Prince of Romance". His works had a great influence on a lot of writers. Graham Green was a great admirer of Weyman, whom he mentions several times in his "Collected Essays".
