Jordan is disturbed by a reoccurring dream about a troubled young girl. So she is not surprised when a close friend asked her to take the girl into her home, because like Jordan, at a young age, Laura is also a psychic

But being psychic is the least of Laura's troubles, for life hadn't been kind to this eight-year-old. Slowly Laura began to trust Jordan by understanding and accepting this unique aspect of their lives, but not without cost.
