Alastair has been a rich playboy his entire life. He's moved from one woman to the next to satisfy his basest urges until he met Faith. Now they're engaged to be married. But Faith's mother, Robin, doesn't think he's good enough for her.

And Robin is a god.

She offers to give Alastair limitless power if he can pass a trial.
