The book describes three phases of a modern-day diversity, equity, and inclusiveness (DEI) initiative:
1) "My In" - full commitment by leaders, plus action to address hidden barriers to success; 2) "Buy In" - gaining the support and participation of others in the firm; and 3) "Tie In" - making DEI, through structural changes, a part of the DNA of the firm.
