Going Full Circle

For more than two decades the Packards immersed themselves in the nonprofit world. From creating an all-volunteer, free medical clinic to reviving two moribund thrift store operations, one of which donated three quarters of a million dollars to local nonprofits in four short years. And when they thought it was time to rest on their laurels the desire to help those in need lead them to open a free food pantry that always had, milk, eggs, and meat, was open when people could come by without missing work, and let the clients "shop" for the food they wanted and would use.
