Mary's life is predictable. She takes care of the books to ensure no one tries to destroy them and unleash the curse that guards them.
But Mary yearns to leave the village behind and all the memories it holds. With no money or connections that leaves one option: get bound. And what better choice than a dragon in distress? Helping him will mean being blessed with good luck.
Then her rescue goes to plan but now she's got an angry sorceress to deal with. Having destroyed her careful plans the sorceress decides to bestow a special curse on Mary.
With the kingdom under threat of a sorceress gaining ultimate power Mary will need to find a way to save them all. If not, the curse will be the least of her problems.
