In discussing the good old days, I have attempted to describe in some detail nearly every aspect as to how things were as I was growing up during those days in a close-knit farming community.
Some readers, however, may be more interested in my personal experiences of that time, the more humorous of which having been included. Growing up first without electricity and then without a father inspired my overactive imagination to go wild in creating a wide variety of ways to entertain myself, many of which were unwise and would never have been tolerated had my father lived.
