Dumped and heartbroken, Zara is thrilled when a way to get back at Holt conveniently drops into her lap. Namely, catching his brother, who skipped out on his court date. Petty, maybe. Okay, very petty but a girl's gotta eat and if it annoys Holt, so much the better!

To say Holt's family is dysfunctional is to say that sunsets are kind of pretty. Finding Zara was wonderful hands down the highlight of his life. The last six months spent staying away from her and watching her date other guys, not so much. Though, he made damn sure all of those dates were unsuccessful. But he would do anything to protect her from his crazy uncle, and that meant pushing her away from him...for now.

When Holt's brother goes on the run, and Zara is tasked with finding him, staying away is not an option. Whether reluctantly or not, the two of them have to work together. But can they work together long enough to work out their differences, thwart his uncle and find happiness?
