It all started when a light was shined on us in March 2020. The world changed as we knew it, overnight. Most people had little knowledge of an epidemic, less alone a pandemic. We had no idea how our daily lives and family dynamics were fixing to change from city to city, state to state, and country to country. This thing was world-wide. Sars COVID-19 hit and took nations by storm. We were shaken and woke to take a good hard look at our Healthcare System and our Immune systems, and to acknowledge that neither one of them were in decent shape. This is what inspired me to author this book, Healthcare and doing the body good, Post Pandemic with a guide to optimal health.
Looking back in retrospect, it really messed us up as a nation, as a people with all the deaths, physical ailments, and psychological effects that came with it. We watched our grocery store chains run out of flour, sugar, milk, rice, produce, meat, toilet paper, water and much more at record proportions. It was time to do something about it, but what could I do as an individual? I could share my wisdom and knowledge as a Healthcare professional to help ease the burden of chaos, stress and mental depression that now floods our communities. Why were we not growing gardens, eating healthier, exercising, strengthening our immune systems, drinking water, getting proper rest, and taking preventive measures?
Preventative care was not being practiced as it should, obesity from too much food consumption, lack of exercise, reality tv, Netflix and chillin along with several other distractions had us caught up. We along with others stood as a nation of upsizing, biggie bags, and super sizing. We walked our way right into diabetes, heart conditions, obesity, strokes and weakened immune systems which caused a multitude of senseless dying and death all because we were unhealthy. It forced us to change. This book is dedicated to those of you who want to change, and those who did. This is a guide to live by doing the body good. Our Healthcare system changed, we got proactive. Telemedicine became a new thing and working remotely did too. This book was written with you in mind. It will teach you what Healthcare really is, how to get there and why you should. It will guide you on how to maintain it, and even includes mental health. Everyone needs a copy of this book, do your body good and read it today.
