Aversa and Salminen have gone beyond the call of duty. Hammer (Retribution) scores high points in mystery, adventure, retribution, music, and the treasure of the Jersey Coast Pirates. A vigilant study of many history books has brought our authors to a looming crisis beyond their capabilities. What ever happened to all the talked about treasure buried by the pirates who made their way into the harbors and bays along the Jersey coast? Very little if any has been found of the vast hoard claimed by the pirates to have been buried in areas unknown to living man. Our authors while innocently working around the Chateau 54, where they reside, found a clue of enormous proportions. While dabbling in their chosen field of creating music they stumble on a large gold coin. After a diligent search they realize help is needed. A descendent of the late pirate 'Apple' Jack LaFong is found living on the bay near Toms River, NJ. All this would make any of us euphoric to the 10th degree but there is always the proverbial stonewall blocking the way. The brother of the late Jewel McGrath has sworn complete and final retribution against our hero's, Mudd and Mother. He claims they were responsible for her demise, they dispute all. These two gentlemen are about to go on an adventure taking them from the sanctity of New Jersey to England, Japan and Poland where they perform their music for the masses. They are followed every mile of the way by the McGrath syndrome. There is much more to tell. A quick read of Hammer (Retribution) will completely amaze the mind of all that partake of the fast paced novel written by Aversa and Salminen.
