As an officer in the United States Air Force Mike put a foot wrong in the Gulf War. It seemed his career was over. Reaching the rank of Colonel in the National Guard 20 years later, it is an astounding surprise to discover while being deployed to Turkey with his unit, he has been promoted to Brigadier General, and is in command for the deployment.
