As punishment for murdering his family (while under the control of Hera), the Axiomatikos have ordered Hercules to perform 12 tasks in the service of Eurystheus. The first was to track down and destroy a man-eating "lion". The beast was revealed to be a machine created by an alien refugee to harvest the organs of children in order to save his ailing wife. The second was to locate and neutralize I-DR. The target was the failed result of a programme to genetically alter human "sklaves" in order to create a new breed of super-soldiers. He had escaped from his cell in the prison on Herne - a moon of Argos - where all the failed experiments are held. But he had no intention of leaving the prison. Not until he had freed every single genetically modified prisoner within the impenetrable walls. Hercules and his nephew Iolaus were ordered to break into the prison, locate ID-R and his fellow escapees and neutralize the threat their superpowers pose to the mighty Axiomatikos. Now our tortured hero must face his third task
