Here You Are

'Here You Are' is a collection of mindful messages for kids to help us connect to and stay in the present moment. This is a children's book, but it is one of those that speaks to people of all ages!

This is a unique children's book of kid's poetry. Short and simple but powerful poems paired with Edie's very unique style of dreamy and magical paintings. It is a soothing and mindful book to read to small children and it is also one of those children's books that will speak to adults as the messages- though simple in their nature- have profound meaning.

Each poem is supported and emphasized by a magical and dreamy illustration.

The messages in the book are spiritual in nature though they are secular and do not adhere to any religion. They aim to inspire us and our children to be in the present moment, to be deeply connected to ourselves and each other and to the magic and beauty in our world. They aim for us to be in a more meditative state than a busy or anxious state and do so through the peaceful and joyful nature of the imagery and the text.

As a self published author / illustrator Edie has sold over a 1000 copies of this book, its popularity continuing to rise. Edie has participated for over 12 years now in the local market scene of NYC and customers have raved about this book.
