And what He wants us to know there is no temptation that is tempting you in any area that He has not already given you a way out of. Jesus is saying He has been there. He did not become Almighty until He had defeated death. So, everything that He had experienced at the point of His death and resurrection, He was experiencing it as we now experience it. But guess what? He was experiencing it in the will of God, which gave Him the ability to go through with it. He gave up His life--by the way--they did not take His life. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV).
