We are told to examine ourselves to see whether we are holding to our faith. "Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?" (2Cor.13:5). Faith is not complete until through the testing and until through the experiment it has become experience. When I've tested it and proven by the testing in my own experience that it works, well then, I have the faith. Now, I'm testing Christand Christ is in me. I must first find what he is, where he is, who he is, and if he is in me. I'm not called upon to test anything that is the tradition of man, something on the outside, just that which is within.
