Holy Spirit

The Lord recently spoke to me that there's coming in this generation, a move and work of the Holy Spirit such as the world has never seen or known before- something bigger and greater than any mind has ever imagined. The latter rain of the Spirit has begun to fall already. Many have already started riding this wave of the Spirit. The tide is already gathering with increasing crescendo. Some have jumped into it, experiencing and exercising the reality of the gospel through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, while others are just standing still, wondering what is happening as if some strange things are happening.

Beloved, this move of the Spirit is very real and it is the plan of God to reveal and bring to reality the fullness of the blessings of the gospel through the awesome ministry of the Holy Spirit.

I totally agree with Pastor David Yonggi Cho, the pastor of the world's largest church who said in one of his church growth conference teachings on the ministry of the Holy Spirit, that, "the Holy Spirit transports us to the ever deepening love of God in the experience of Jesus Christ and deeper revelations". Think about that for a moment.

How can we ever have an experiential knowledge of our Heavenly Father's love and the awesome, boundless and all-encompassing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ unless the Holy Spirit reveals and makes Him a reality in our lives? How can we ever have intimacy with the Lord unless the Holy Spirit makes it possible? The Holy Spirit is the Angel of God's presence (Isa. 63:9). He is the authorised custodian, revealer and demonstrator of God's presence. He is the presence of God's omnipresence, the power of the Highest and the wisdom of the omniscient God. Everything we know or experience about God or Jesus, we know by the ministry of the Holy Spirit. He is truly the atmosphere of God's presence.

The sacrifice and finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary's tree made the awesome ministry of the Holy Spirit available to all who believe. All it requires to experience the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit is salvation through the acknowledgement of the finished work of Jesus Christ and faith in the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It is the heartbeat of God for His children- the Church, to live, walk and minister in the power of the Spirit. He is here to guide (lead) us into all the truth. It is very necessary, as well as compulsory, that every believer who wishes to be relevant in the furtherance of the gospel and establishment of God's kingdom on earth, especially in these last days, be filled with the Holy Ghost.
