He fished in the Bay Point tournament for four years and won $120,000. In the Firecracker Open in Hawaii he won $48,000 in the Calcuttas. In 2017 for his 70th birthday, he went out of Murrells Inlet, North Carolina, and had a great day catching dolphin. He wrote this memoir to share his exciting experiences with other anglers and mates, urging them to never give up when fishing.
