It's hard to be hopeful during these trying times. We have come out of two years of strict restrictions and mandates. However, as I write this, the mandates and restrictions are slowly lifting, and a new dawn is arising. Finally, people are going back to restaurants, enjoying the company of friends. Also, people are once again gathering for religious services.
However, I can't help but have a cautious optimism. I am pretty sure that we are probably past the worse of this pandemic. However, there will be new variants cropping up and we may be forced to be cautious again.
Regardless of what happens in the future, right now, things are going in the right direction, and we can't help but rejoice about that. All our hard work, social distancing, and vaccinations have paid off. Now we have the rare opportunity to rejoin life again.
