Frustrated and nearly giving up on her dream of a journalism job in Los Angeles, Mandy nearly retreats back to her small mid-west hometown. Going to parties with her friend was helping when it came to being able to eat well on the contract salaries that she was barely getting. Then her friend talks her into appearing as the lead of a reality dating show not only to help her friend to get a promotion, but to also help with income and exposure.
Fed up with the fake actresses and being used in relationships, John had sworn off of love or even dating. With a glimmer of hope, he becomes friends with someone at work and tells her about the Young Hollywood parties so she can work on building her career on the production side of the studio. He also took on the role of director of the show to help out Sophie even more.
Little did Mandy and John know that the fates had been working on setting them up through Sophie. Once they moved into the mansion where the show would be filming that they would have an immediate attraction to each other. But how can this relationship have a chance when Mandy would need to choose one of the bachelors at the end of the show as her soul mate?
