Alexander Hinkel and the cheeky boxing club owner, Janke Lofstat, are back for a second season of solving murders! Together they tackle ten new and intriguing murder investigations with the help of Agrippa's police captain Robert Flint. And this time, Hinkel and Janke have to try and juggle the ups and downs of their new romantic relationship on top of it all, without it affecting their work...

Hour of the Dead is an annual tradition on the University of Agrippa campus. During this student festival, at exactly midnight, passers-by in the streets are entertained by students who stage bloody murder scenes in each and every student residence and apartment window. The more credible, the better. But this year someone has gone too far. Because when the decorations and false blood have been cleaned up, the body of a man remains behind in one of the apartments. A real body. Which means one of the murders was a real one. Hinkel and Janke are called in to investigate the case.
