The scans I present in this book are, to my knowledge, the first, and possibly, the only ones for now, of a person suffering from macular disease, done after introduction and use of heat in the eyes.

Can this disease be tested in a different way to make it possible for earlier detection?

How?
By finding a way to heat up the interior of the eye, instead of just dilation, prior to taking macular scans.
Last but not least, you will find, in this book, photographic comparative photographs of the interior of an eye affected by macular disease and one that is much younger, and not yet affected, but with the very same cause of most macular disease, atrophied rods and cones.
