Contrary to popular belief, the Bible is actually a collection of sixty-six books or religious writings that have been collected for more than two thousand years. There are even some versions of the Bible that have more than sixty-six books. These include the apocryphal books. So, the Bible is not just one bookit is a collection of books.

The Bible cannot be classified into just a single genre. This is because its books can be classified into so many categories. The Bible is not arranged chronologically but rather, it is arranged according to topic.

The Bible is divided into two major parts The Old Testament and The New Testament. Within the Old Testament are what are referred to as the books of Moses Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, These books bear the origin of God as well as discuss the origins of the Hebrew nation.
