To truly comprehend what it takes to achieve a winning culture takes time and patience. I'm sure we have all come across the term "success doesn't happen overnight"? Good 'coaching' and 'leadership' are each a skill, an art, that requires a depth of understanding and commitment to practice it's multidimentionalism, to achieve significant results. There will be moments where what we attempt to instil into our environments won't necessarily provide us with the anticipated immediate outcomes - and yet, there will be methods that may start to show early signs of positive results. We can adopt a metaphor such as 'creating your wall' for the development of our cultures. For example, to build this wall strong enough we need to choose the right combination of; 'bricks' (e.g., values) and 'mortar' (e.g., what will bind everybody together), whilst setting our 'strong foundations' (e.g., trust, honesty, confidence our 'dynamics'). Once we have these elements of our "wall" in place, we can then start to build, to achieve greater heights (e.g., our successes: 'private' and 'public'). However, we may identify that certain 'bricks' and 'mortar' may need adapting or replacing in order to improve our environments. 'How' to do this? is one of the primary objectives for producing this book.
We want to help you to become more effective leaders, coaches, and managers no matter your level: from grassroots to high-performance.
