How to Study the Bible

Most Christians try to study the Bible at one time or another, only to give up in despair a few days or a few weeks later because they are confused and frustrated. The Bible seems very complicated, but it really isn't. In this book my primary goal is to show the reader a definite, workable and easily understandable system for studying the Bible. First, this book is for anyone who has recently received Jesus Christ as their Savior. You are babies in the spiritual realm and your spiritual "milk" will come from studying the Word of God. "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good" (I Peter 2:2-3, NIV). Second, it is written for people who have been Christians for some time, but never have been able to get into a consistent program of study and meditation in the Holy Bible the Word of God. The clear, concise method outlined in this book will be the Bible study system that you need. This system does work. Every bit of it is based solidly upon the Word of God. This system will enable you to keep busy studying God's Word for the rest of your life. Bible study is infinite. The more you learn, the more you will realize how much there still is to learn. You will never come close to learning what your Father wants to teach you.
