In the fourth book of the Hyperman Origin series, Dylan settles into college life. Dr. Gladwell starts to wean him off the medications he was prescribed. Hi, I'm Dylan. This book is about me. Before you start reading it, I want you to know this is not a superhero story. The title sounds like it's going to be a superhero story, but it's not. Superheroes are not real. This story is about me and I'm a real person. Well, I'm a fictional character because Nick made me up. But I'm a real fictional person.

Don't let all that 'Will he be happy? Will he survive?' part freak you out. I'll be okay in the end. At least I think I will. Oh! You know what? I'm telling you my story so I must still be alive. Wow. I don't know about you but that's a huge relief for me.

I do grow stronger, faster, and smarter. My ability to attract members of the opposite sex grows dramatically. Also, my memory, strength, reflexes, speed, and stamina all increase exponentially. My virility and sexual endurance are impressive, andoh, forget it. It's kind of a superhero story. Bullets don't bounce off me and I can't fly or anything. But it's still a lot of fun. There are some hot girls, bad guys, violence, intrigue, revenge, romance, lots of sex, feats of strength, and HOT GIRLS. So, if you forget about the superhero crap, I'll tell you what happened.

SOME NEW STUFF:
If you read the first three installments of this story, you already know that a doctor makes a mistake that changes my life. He's not researching anything radical or cool. He's a regular (kind of incompetent) doctor. There's no vat of toxic waste or radioactive insects lying around. Nothing cool like that happens to me.

Now another doctor tries to help me. Meeting Gladwell is a shock and one revelation leads to another and another is those sessions. One will change my romantic life and have life-long consequences.

In this story, an old acquaintance from High School pops up and leads C J and I to take on an exciting and dangerous task on Halloween Night. It will have far-reaching repercussions that we never would have expected.
