I Just Want to Pee Alone

How do moms do it? Raising children is hard! Taking a shower, eating a meal while it's still warm, and going to the bathroom alone are luxuries moms can't seem to afford while their children are very young. Wherever I go, my 3, 2, and 1 year old follow. And they bring disaster and destruction along with their cuteness overload. It's not just that I couldn't pee alone anymore, it's that I had to simultaneously manage the toilet paper roll, cupboard contents, and toddlers climbing into the sink or bathtub while trying to do my business. Complete chaos! In the thick of having three kids under the age of three, I knew I needed to make some drastic changes because I was burning out quickly and quite frankly, being driven nuts! I loved my kids but I felt too drained to truly enjoy them. This short book is about the very practical and meaningful changes I made in myself and our home to bring more peace of mind, and cleanliness and order (believe it or not!). I believe we should drink our coffees hot no matter how many children we have running or crawling around. The first few years are tough, and moms deserve that little bit of peace and personal space to be able to get through the days and truly enjoy our children amidst the chaos.
