I am

Who do you think you are? It is vitally important to know what your real identity is in order to be a disciple of Jesus and have an impact on those around you! In "I Am," Piet van Walsem describes a number of life lessons he has learned about this while church planting at home and abroad. About the author:

Piet van Walsem (b. 1956) was working as an elementary school teacher when God called him to join his family in a commitment to other cultures. He has traveled extensively since 1985, first to Eastern Europe, then to Middle Eastern countries such as Afghanistan. Pete has a passion for training young leaders and has been at the cradle of many churches and mission stations. Piet has since shifted his focus to the Netherlands, where he coaches young leaders and is a sought-after speaker.

Piet has a deep passion to make the Kingdom of God visible on earth. The spearhead is the growth of the Ekklesia. By this Pete means groups of believers who come together as a family to meet God, who put the Kingdom at the center, and who are called to a particular area, such as their own living or working environment or a profession, network, country or people. Pete has started numerous Ekklesias and together with his wife Ina is intensively involved in the growth process of some of them. He does this through the Red Chair Movement: a worldwide movement that activates you to start and strengthen your own Ekklesia.
