William Butler YEATS (1865-1939) was an Irish poet, dramatist, mystic and public figure who was one of the driving forces behind the Irish Literary Revival.

Rather than a discussion on good and evil as conditions of the human soul, this book is a collection of essays about art written between 1895 and 1903

His thoughts on poetry, symbolism, theatre and the essays on William Blake are quite interesting.
