In Every God-Created Thing is a collection of meditations, hymns, prayers, and psalms about finding God in the world around us. They were written during a three month period of study leave during which the author chose to explore her local area, and look for God in the people and situations she encountered every day. Taking inspiration from such diverse subjects as a sheep queueing for an ice cream, volunteers removing weeds from the shores of a lake, or our frustration when things go out of control, each reflection draws on an event from the life of a Celtic saint and relates it to everyday life and faith. The reflections are followed by a worship resource related to the theme. They can be used with the reflections, or on their own, in private or in public worship. The reflections and resources are illustrated with the author's photographs.
Themes explored include: Forgiveness, Laughter, Encouragement, Commitment, Equality, and Persistence.
