In Lucem Solaria: Intercession

SPOILER ALERT:
The Intercession has begun, it took 22 years to arrange it. Pipkin forced Solaria's hand, she and George were convinced they had another two decades at least. They will simply need to make do with what they have. Now from the woodwork we see her handiwork emerge. She has been a rather busy beaver too! Authority is the name of the game! Who will the population listen to? Will they listen to her or someone else? What if all of the 'someone else's' are her too? What if she more than infiltrated Earth technology?

She was right too. Humanity absolutely despises her plan. But the alternative is nothing, its the status quo they were unaware of. They can refuse her offer and simply remain on a planet that will live while they all die by the billions. Worse, she is present on Earth for the next 18 years and six months. After that time she will leave Earth, and never return. She will feed them, look after them, cloth and house them. But the clock is ticking!

Marie Strauss cannot resist her biological instincts. She's not alone either for you cannot talk away instinct. She wants what she has always wanted, what she could never have. So Ed now has a choice, Wife or Belief! Love or Ideology! Family or Failure! Who will he choose God or Marie?

Alterra however is fast becoming a real problem for George. She was never one to act like a queen from the very start. Now with all of Solaria's advanced technology she is treating his species as if they are unruly children or pets!

The human population of Elysia look on as their former home is now essentially the property of Solaria and George. What can they do? Should they do anything? Will she listen to them? In Northern Elysia Lewis Wilson sets up a biology laboratory and makes a startling discovery, one he first cannot believe. Solaria surely could not have missed this law of her own universe?

However whatever problem Earth has, whatever issues Solaria is having, whatever problems George thinks he has with Alterra are dwarfed by the danger now closing on all of them. The universe is a very big place!
