Beth O'Malley desperately needs the answer to this question, not a question an ordinary teenager has to grapple with but then, Beth O'Malley is not an ordinary teenager. At first her ability is only an amusement, an entry into beautiful and interesting places but when she befriends a reclusive classmate with his own secrets to protect, they begin exploring more risky photographs linked with unsolved conspiracies in a private game to solve them.
