Story 1 of the "independent storyteller" series by Steph Davies, a young Irish-Canadian artist creating her artistic mark. Filled with genuine perspective, insight, and interpretation in relation to the 21st century times she finds herself living in, these works aim to question and challenge the current Canadian system's ideals and environment raising topics such as: Colonialism, Decolonization, Spirituality, Millennials, Resistance, Irish writers, Storytelling, Individualism, Collectivism, and Creativity. Stephanie Davies is from Peterborough, Ontario, has studied Arts and Humanities at both Trent University and Algonquin College, and has been living in the city of Montreal, Quebec since 2014. She is a storyteller of Canadian settler culture, a simple philosopher by nature, and writes independently about her personal experiences surrounding decolonization, in addition to creative fiction.
