The book was published in print in 2013 just a month before Maidan. In a way, maybe in a poetic way, it predicted what happened and what is happening now. Since then I almost didn't write poetry, but now after russian full-scale invasion to Ukraine, some of these rhymes keep flashing in my brain. That's why and because of some requests of readers, I'm republishing this book as ebook.

The original book info:

The second anthology by Andriy Voloshyn 'Insha Imperium' continues the search of new archeofuturistic forms of expression as initiated in his first book 'In Fact There is no Misfortune', from the ankle of the artists's worldview.

Poems of the young poet can be considered as the ex- treme limit on the caleidoscope of modern Ukrainian intellectual poetry. His oeuvre is addressed to the intelligent read- er who is willing to think for himself and ponder, reading the provoked images on conscious and unconscious levels.

In the verses the essence of the author is well perceived: He is a young man living in a metropolis, who is bound to encounter in a split second hundreds of people, their emotions and live events on all levels: From the deepest cave of underground and marginalized persons up to the highest towers of modern urban civilization: bookstores, museums, the very ceiling of the entire building.

Of special interest is the series of 'Archeofuturist Alphabet'. In this cycle the poet sets himself a double difficult task: In this experiment he succeeded brilliantly in making the words conveying their fullest content and transcending to the highest philosophical crests by way of alliteration or other sonorous techniques like deliberate sound bits.

This poetry is in Ukrainian language with English translation.
